About Us
We started out as a small part-time computer service for family and friends, but as the demand for computer services and computers grew, HiTech Bay was officially launched as a company in 2007. What began in a spare bedroom of a home turned into a small warehouse. We currently operate out of a 20,000 square foot facilities in Canada and USA. Now, we refurbish and re-certify over 4000 systems every month and the demand is growing 35% annually!

The average customer that goes into the big box store can get caught up in being convinced that they need the newest computer with one specific setup and may lose much of their savings ignorantly. We see new models being released every year, and the prices hiking upwards ignoring the fact that its the same machine that came out previously – just with a new price! Consumers are programmed to think that they always the newest model. At HiTech Bay, our philosophy is to give you options, to spend time with you to understand what your need is and grant it to you for a fraction of the retail price. Why spend $700 or more for a consumer starter computer when you can custom build a business quality machine starting as low as $200. We professionally refurbish all computers using top of the line technology solutions and genuine installations before shipping them out to you.

Standard Return Policy

  • Return for refund within: 30 days
  • Return for replacement within: 60 days

RMA Policy

US-Tecno Return Policies.
• All returns must include the following or it may be rejected and returned back to you:
• Product purchased from US-Tecno
• Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation)
• All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc.
• Original UPC/serial number intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
• All return request for refund or replacement can be submitted via Newegg Return Portal with valid return reason selected within thirty (30) calendar days from the delivery date and valid RMA numbers will be provided by Newegg

Return Requirements and Policy:
1. All return or replacement request will be processed within 2 business days after returned item is received by US-Tecno
2. Shipment received with visible damages must be reported to us within Fifteen (15) calendar days of the delivery date. In the event an item is sold without shipping charge, US-Tecno will refund the amount of sale.
3. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.
4. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses for products over 50lbs unless product is defective, damaged, or not as advertised. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.
5. Customer is required to ship the return products with sufficient shipping packaging and void fill material inside to prevent product from physically damaged during return transportation or customer will be responsible for any loss and damages in return shipping. Any loss or damages during the return shipping due to insufficient shipping packaging may result the return to be rejected back to you or charges to be applied to your refund determined by US-Tecno.
6. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and standard returns policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.
7. Refund will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return. US-Tecno will refund back to your method of payment.

Restocking Fees and Return Shipping Labels:
US-Tecno can charge a Restocking Fee if all the following conditions are met:
a.The sold item condition is New (NOT Refurbished)
b.The return is due to the buyer’s personal reason (e.g., No Longer Needed)
c.The item has been opened
d.The product belongs to the following categories: VGA, HD, Motherboard (MB), TV, or Projector
The restocking fee may range between 0-15% at seller's discretion for any qualifying returns.
Return shipping labels within return policy period are free for returns under 50lbs, damaged or defective products, wrong product was sent to you, or the product did not match what was shown on website.
For returns over 50lbs due to the buyer's personal return reason (e.g., No Longer Needed), the buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

4 out of 5 eggs Took a Little Tweaking to get the DVD Drive Running

As in any new Windows install, a large update was necessary. DVD drive was not recognized so I updated as many drivers that I could to no avail. Installed an external DVD drive which did work and miraculously the onboard DVD drive was recognized... We bought this hard drive for a safety DVD training station.... it seems to be up and running with no further issues... Great price for a rebuilt PC with Windows 11. Would buy from again.

Do not trust the item specifications from US-Tecno. I ordered a refurbished HP desktop specifically because it was advertised and priced for 32GB of RAM. When it arrived, it only had 16GB installed. I contacted support with photo proof, and they admitted the 32GB listing was a 'mistake' on their end. However, they completely refused to honor the advertised terms of sale by sending the missing RAM. Instead, they forced me to pack up the PC and ship it back internationally just to get a refund. They tied up my money and completely wasted my time because of their own listing negligence. Avoid this seller if you expect to actually receive what you pay for.

Company name is US Tecno, but their warehouse is in Canada. So everything is delayed though customs. But that said, shipping and return went about as smoothly as possible. But they sent a dead graphics card and I had to return it, back to Canada, then it takes them 2-3 business days to process the return. Now after ordering a PC on the 7th I'm sitting here on the 17th waiting for them to process and ship it with an Est. Ship Out Date:1/21 so it'll probably be another week or so before I have a working PC that was paid for on the 7th.

This PC meets expectations and delivers exactly what was promised. It does not have built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, which is something to be aware of, but they included a Wi-Fi dongle, which was nice. The system arrived much faster than expected, and works great so far. I would definitely order from US-Tecno again.
