About Us
We started out as a small part-time computer service for family and friends, but as the demand for computer services and computers grew, HiTech Bay was officially launched as a company in 2007. What began in a spare bedroom of a home turned into a small warehouse. We currently operate out of a 20,000 square foot facilities in Canada and USA. Now, we refurbish and re-certify over 4000 systems every month and the demand is growing 35% annually!

We see new models being released every year, and the prices hiking upwards ignoring the fact that its the same machine that came out previously – just with a new price! Consumers are programmed to think that they always the newest model. At HiTech Bay, our philosophy is to give you options, to spend time with you to understand what your need is and grant it to you for a fraction of the retail price. Why spend $700 or more for a consumer starter computer when you can custom build a business quality machine starting as low as $200. We professionally refurbish all computers using top of the line technology solutions and genuine installations before shipping them out to you.

Return Policy

Standard Return Policy

  • Return for refund within: 30 days
  • Return for replacement within: 60 days
  • Restocking Fee: 5.00%

RMA Policy

All returns must include the following or it will be rejected and returned back to you at your cost:
. Product purchased from US-Tecno
. Original Condition, no physical damage (exclude damages sustained during transportation)
. All accessories, manuals, warranty registration card, etc.
. Original UPC/serial# intact on product and on retail package (Proof of Purchase)
. Valid RMA number obtained from website or customer service for the correct product and order
Additional Return Requirements and Policy:
1. An RMA number must be requested within thirty (30) calendar days of the delivery date. Shipping charge is the cost of us sending the product to you and will not be refunded. No restocking fee will be applied on return for DOA/Defective and shipping damaged product. Shipment received with visible damages must be reported to us within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date. In the event an item is sold without shipping charge, US-Tecno will refund the amount of sale.
2. All returns with missing part(s) (including, but not limited to, accessories, manuals, warranty registration cards, original manufacturer packing materials and retail packaging) will not be processed until the part is received.
3. Customer is responsible for return shipping expenses unless otherwise explicitly states on the product. Replacements will be shipped at our expense.
4. Customer is required to ship the return products with sufficient shipping packaging and void fill material inside to prevent product from physically damaged during return transportation. Customer is responsible for any loss and damages in return shipping.
5. Upon our acceptance of the merchandise in like new condition in strict conformance with the basic criteria and standard returns policy, the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase.
6. Refund will be issued after our warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return. US-Tecno will refund back to your method of payment.

RMA instructions

When you return an item, you may see different return options available. To request:
1. Log onto your NeweggBusiness.com account. Select New RMA Request option under My Account. Find your order in order history.
2. Click Return an item from this order option to start.
3. Select the return type from Refund or Replace.
4. Select the item(s) you wish to continue.
5. Specify more details, including item quantity, and any additional comments or messages regarding your request before click SUBMIT button.
6. It will take up to 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry after Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry.
7. Once your request is approved, you will be provided with detailed instruction through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before shipping your return merchandise back.
8. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.

I ordered a desktop computer. It came quickly but did not have the graphics support that was advertised. I contacted their support number and was told that they would not correct the problem. I ordered from a reseller and they accepted the return.

I ordered a refurbished PC system from this seller... When the system arrived there was no monitor... Thinking it may have been shipped separately I waited a couple of days but when no monitor arrived I wrote asking where the monitor was... The seller replied that no monitor was included with this package.. When I replied, sending the seller a copy of their ad that indicated a monitor was included they replied that the aid was in error and that there was no picture of the monitor in the ad... I replied that I understood that the add wasn't edited before placing but if the "no monitor" in the picture applied, then there wasn't any pictures of the video card, ram, 1 TB HDD... I assumed, like the monitor, that since the description indicated all of these items, that everything was included... The seller replied back that the cost of the system did not include a monitor... They did not offer to make make this purchase "right".... Had I known there was no monitor included, I would have purchased elsewhere... Now my Gran Daughter has no monitor to view/do her "on-line" school work and I'll have to purchase a monitor for her...

Great value and it also came with a wireless set of mouse and keyboard. It worked perfectly out of the box, and the packaging was excellent.

New out of the box, it didnt work. Ive contacted support and the have just left me hanging. No support, no computer that works. Oh, and he rush shipping I paid for? The label was created and then sat for four days without moving. Do NOT recommend this company. I have needed this computer for large projects and deadlines that Im probably now going to miss because I paid for a basic working computer with rush shipping and I didnt get either.

Good experience overall and a fair deal for a quality item. Machine appears to be in good order and as described, machine included a slightly newer series processor of the same rating but contrary to the listing details. Paid for expedited shipping but Item did not arrive within the window advertised. "US Techno" ships from Canada? 5 egg ratings require 5 egg service so 4 eggs is the best I can do today..

Product was delivered super fast, excellent customer service, they contacted me quickly and were very responsive with communication. They shipped the computer much faster than I expected after I told them it was my fault for ordering a school computer just a few days before school started. The computer arrived on time for school! Could not be happier.

Refurbished pc was as advertised and worked well. Clean with no blemishes. The packaging was good, however the box was damaged. The computer was undamaged.

Got two of these PC's. They were cleaned up nicely and came pre-installed with the advertised windows version (needed Win 7 - 32bit for special application, and got it). It came with 8GB RAM which is more than the 32 bit OS can use, but if you ever want to upgrade to 64 bit I guess it's handy it's already there. The physical condition was nice and clean and other than one broken front panel tab (so the front panel on one PC is a bit loose in one corner), it was hard to find any defects or blemishes. Very happy with this purchase thus far.
